What is 1.0 at Endnight Games is at most a 0.1 Pre Alpha for other developers. You can tell we're dealing with professionals here. Separate saving of character data from the environment, as well as cheats on a dedicated server. Real pros, that's for sure ;-)

To activate the cheats, you need to set your keyboard to the US layout. Then, simply type "C H E A T S T I C K" while in the game. From now on, you can open the cheat menu with F1 and cheat. Using the command "spawnitem log 10000" will crash any server.

Their Early access was like a 1.0 release from most of the games on steam. You're a total ignoramus.

im dealing with the same issue atm
i killed kelvin and deleted his dead body (dont ask why)
i thought i could bring him back but it literally is impossible
inserting kelvins files from older savefiles into the newer ones doesnt work either
deleting the addcharacter option is so dumb
it makes the game much more fun aswell as it can be very helpful to others
it is so frustrating
