Edit save data?
Is there any method to edit save data?
There is one Save Editor software found in Nexus mods, but apparently its outdated and doesn't work with full release version of the game.

So I was wondering if there's another way to edit the save data.

That one is up to date.
This should be implemented and not third party or manual to have to do.

I do it manually to give myself build items particularly copper wire for electric fences and adjusting the coordinates for infinite ziplines.

This one is crashing on me with an "unexpected error, the application state might be corrupted" With an additional "The process cannot access the file 'C:\...my save location'
I only opened my save to move Virginia to me because I couldn't edit the json file manually as it would tell me that specific file was in use even though the game was closed, and steam was closed.

Have you checked the post's date? it's almost half a year old.
So there's prbably a new version. I got mine on Nexus and it works fine. Try it there.
