REALISTIC TIME is fun, but where's Virginia?

Since this game is no longer a challenge, I chose to have fun with the option of TIME SPEED and SEASONS: Realistic.
It's true that it gives you more time to build and that you don't need to eat and drink for longer (in real life) time.
But is still fun/challenging, because everything takes FOREVER (cooking, plants growing, etc.) and if you DARE to sleep in daytime, you must be prepared to spend 6 IN REAL LIFE hours in the dark.
As I said: fun and challenging in its own way. I'm glad they added this option.

(and here's the question)

Where is Virginia?
I never noticed it before, but is it possible that she will wait an entire (in game) week, before to spawn?
Today I woke up in my 7th day (as I said, it takes forever: I started this game last week), but I still can't find her in any of her usual places.

Am I missing something, or I just have to wait a bit longer.

(I was already able to complete the game the second day, but I'm waiting for her)

Can't tell for sure, after only a week, but I also think a season is 3 months.
And yes, maybe, if I go to complete the game right now, she'll be just in time to wave from the beach, holding a dead squirrel for me XD

UPDATE:
I can confirm.
She spawned next to a lake, after a week of gameplay.
She probably always wait that much, but nobody noticed, because at normal speed a week goes by in few hours.
Now I know something new.

I've been looking for her for two days and was on the verge of giving up hope! :D
But damn, it's going to be a while until day 7... ^^

Have you tried just long days instead of default .. long days seem to require not much eating either especially if you only eat and drink and just sleep to regain the tiredness thing...

don't ever sit during the day only concern is water and food which is not often and just sleep at night and then the trees grow back and you get your stamina back ...
