Helicopters?

When will we get to use our own helicopter in game? I think be cool to fly around the map in a home made helicopter and help us explore the sky more than the glider.

There is a MOD for a single seat build able heli. You have to turn down your mouse sensitivity a ton but once you get used to it, it is a BLAST. I love flying it and now I can land on a very big dime. It fits in this game so well. The devs really should look into that MOD and make it part of the game.

Ah yes, after all your complaining you essentially want the map to shrink with high-speed aerial travel. After which we will get another post from this little man-child about not having enough content for what you paid.

But do we not already have this in the glider? The glider does not even make sense. It can stay in the air indefinitely and can be stored onto the backpack? The heli MOD would make sense to be part of the game and it looks great. The creator did an amazing job, love the turtle shell seat lol. This should be added but if not, the MOD works great.

yes and now it is super easy to gain altitude too. You can stay in the air forever. I use it and is fun to fly but to me it is unrealistic. The heli is a blast once you get used to it.

The Glider is basically a small plane already. Honestly its so overpowered it made the game noticeably worse for me. Having a little gyrocopter that's faster but relies on fuel and cant be stuffed in your backpack would have been a great alternative

i don't play with glider, and i played most of 250h
the zip line is more fun to explore the island
and make a zipline between th two side of the mountain is a great challenge
the helicopter is the same probleme like the boat, its not fun
all the fun of this game it's walk in the forest with a lot of invisible ennemies

You can have that opinion for sure. Many love to walk around the forest and explore. I do too 100%. It is also nice to have the ability to jump in my heli and Fly to one of several landing pads I created around the map. Allowing me to not have to walk for long periods just to get back to a location across the map I want to revisit. Everyone has their own play style, that is what makes this game so cool. Play it how you want.
