Why on earth would there be a discount on full release? I wouldn't expect a discount on this game till at least next Christmas.

Maybe. There's always a time-limited discount here and there, so why not on release?
SOTF already had a discount as well.
And if not on release, there might be one at a later time.

Devs only stated it's not been planned to change on the regular price on release.
That doesn't include temporary discounts.

this is literally the OPPOSITE of whats going to happen. The day 1.0 drops, the price will go UP. The price already super cheap, and less than the average game, early access titles included. its definitely not going to go lower, especially on full release. maybe towards fall or late summer it might have a sale, but it will probably just go on sale for its current price.

Maybe because 'price' doesn't include temporary discounts.

Sure they could throw it on sale at full release but that would be a slap in the face for everyone that paid full price when it released EA. That wouldn't be a smart move for them.

It's not the first time SOTF had a discount. There have been several sales during various Steam events or already.

I don't feel it as a slap in the face. It's just like any sales. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes others are.

If they do a sale between 10-15% it'll have people be more inclined on purchasing the game due to saving a few monies on full release :)
