Report a translation problem
You can remove all equipped armor by equipping the golden armor. That strips it all off and returns it to your inventory.
I don't think it will return partially damaged armor tho. And there is no indicator of that.
Depending on how you're doing with rope and duct tape, even bone armor can be hard to maintain and it's even easier to lose. I feel armor in general has this problem. Bone and tech are too expensive (unless you save scum), deer are a pain to hunt to make hide worthwhile and it's even weaker and leaf armor is weaker still.
Ironically, I think creepy armor is technically the easiest type if your base defenses are adequate to kill mutants without you having to get in there yourself much. Would be a very long time to wait around and farm though.
I can kinda get not wanting us to have armor in such abundant supply that we're effectively invincible, but if armor's too much of a pain to get, we got the opposite extreme or armor being effectively useless, which is no less a problem.
I hope the developers balance it out more when the game fully releases to be more like the first game.
