Any News on Realistic Time Settings?

Is there any official news or information about all the bugs and/or improperly timed activities(like boiling water taking real life hours) or are we just expected to start a new save so we can actually use/enjoy half of the items in the game?

I mean you picked realistic time. It's a literal 24 hours in a day of the game. Everything takes realistic time to do. The pot wasn't in the game yet the last time I played on realistic time, but I remember it took 10 minutes for a fish to cook.

I get the idea that the term 'realistic ' might have been chosen for a reason.
Be glad that movement or tree chopping speed wasn't set to realistic as well ,-)

I have no problem with the long days, though its actually 28 hours irl for one in game so thats a little odd, but I really enjoy that fact and setting. My issue is that things like boiling water or cooking food take multiple hours, sometimes longer than the despawn timer for such items. Half the time I cook food or boil water, it despawns before it is done. My only issue is that they didn't adjust certain timers to actually be realistic, it only takes 2 minutes to boil water till its clean, takes several hours in game. Obviously I was aware that the days should be 24 hours and seasons take months, its everything else I have an issue with. Golf carts are unusable in the realistic setting since the charge time supposedly takes weeks and weeks, my died in game 11 days ago and has not received any charged even when in sunlight. Those are some my issues, nothing to do with the length of time or seasons, its the bugs and unusable features they didn't bother to adjust and haven't said/mentioned anything about even after dozens of reports/emails about said issues.
