Personally I think both of these changes were a good idea. The constant creepy armor drops made many caves a bit too easy. Even though they cannot be headshot so easily now, they can still be stunned with headshots.
To be honest I lost the desire to play and haven't really played at all since this change. I got my fill of the game though. Time to move on. They bring back creepy armor to puffies, I'll play some more.
Or maybe just get better at the game and adapt. Lets be honest. It was making the game a bit too easy at times.
To be honest, people don't wanna "Get good" they wanted to play how they wan't. "Get good" is a choice, other wise everyone would be part of the olympics. Did you know people actually play video games for fun? lawd the trolls nowadays.
Sure. Player choice is nice and I actually strong support them adding in depth ways to customize the difficult. But they need to balance the game with consideration to the general audiences playing the game. And regular puffies are simply too common and easy to kill to be getting creepy armor from each of them.
Yea. This actually might be part of the reason why they removed the ability to get creepy armor from them. Cause notice. You can't get bones from the bigger tougher puffies. Also right now you can just use a torch to burn bodies. No need to make a fire.
Right, it was probably for balance. I assume back then, you could skin the puffy mutants, then pick them up and burn them to get bones.
I didn't know you can burn bodies with the torch. The more you know.
Yes. Last patch makes this work. It makes things a lot less tedious. The only thing is that this does make caves easier. But I mean. The first game did have hair sprayers so its whatever.
