Fireplace - making the fire SOLVED
Hi folks,

I'm just wanting to check if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. We've built our shelter, put in the new stone fireplace. We've been trying to start a fire and I found there IS a prompt to break sticks and put them in there the same way you'd start a normal fire outside.

Thing is, as soon as I throw the sticks down, they stack for a second then disappear, it won't stay or allow be to build the fire.

As another suggestion - please allow us to build a fireplace storage holder that we can put inside near the fireplace to have a neat, tidy supply of easily accessible fuel <3

Thanks!

I haven't tested this myself, but I do believe you have to put firewood on top of your little stick fire before lighting it. These half quarter logs you use for regular camp fires, you know?
Maybe something to try?

Cheers!

EDIT and UPDATE

We got the fire working. The issue was that when I was outside holding sticks they were set to the mode where you can put them into the ground to build the fences or other building things.

Switching that mode back to fire making, then putting going inside to build the fire in the fireplace worked.

You then put as many sticks in there as you can at once, then it'll let you throw firewood onto the fire!

I'm assuming you mean storage for firewood as there is storage for sticks already.

This, yes please. The outside stack of firewood is great but a storage like Rock or Bone storage to put inside for firewood would be great
