This was the first thing I tried to do to. That and stone windows. It's a great start now hopefully it gets expanded on more.

I did try placing stones on ice and it worked just like with the logs. And yes, even after frozen lake winter was gone the structures stayed.

In my case I built a stone "fundation" for a bridge while the lake was frozen and filled the fundation with wood planks so I can walk over to the other side of the lake. Worked.

My wall looks more green than like rock, maybe i'm a baby, but it'd be nice if they lowered the green level on the stone justttt a litttle.

I'm aware you can manipulate it to do so. But you can't fill with mix. It's fine, just hard to edit with existing builds. Like I have a mega build so that's most of the stone building I need to do.

Yes you'd have to rebuild the entire structure with knowledge of the new mechanics. It's a shame but not impossible. Gives you a reason to keep building, no?
