Enemy spawn rate/amount slider in menu options !!!
I am sure many other people agree that there are either too many enemies or not enough. I personally dont think there are enough enemies in the game and have been put off playing as it seems too boring in the late game.

Adding a slider on the main menu for game options when starting a game would be perfect.
Here is an example of the following and multiplier based on the current enemy rates.

Extremely Low (0.25x)
Little (0.5x)
Normal (1x)
Many (1.5x)
Extreme (2x)
Insane/Horde (2.5x)

It would add something to the game that would honestly make me want to start playing again. Running around with the 2x enemy mod in The Forest was insanely difficult but fun and would love this to become an option in this game.

Thanks :)

What you're looking for is the aggression level in the custom settings. It should limit the frequency in which enemies raid you, but caves and camps contain the same number of enemies. The options here are not specific and limited, but do have an effect.

Hope this helps!

Strongly agree with the above. The custom settings can also help you decide more on enemies than just aggression level and allow you to choose some other options if you prefer a tailored experience.

Balancing in the cookie cutter default settings of Peaceful, Normal, Hard and Hard Survival will likely happen periodically throughout the EA process, so expect those may change as well. Good luck!
