Stick Snap Points and Stick Placement
The snap points and placement of sticks needs some attention. Should be able to place sticks on horizontally placed logs and rock walls without having to apply several steps just to get the first set of sticks placed. Please make it possible to place a stick into a horizontal log/rock wall and make it so the snap points show up regardless of vertical changes in the wall.

Snap points of sticks on rock walls are not working very well. When trying to place 4 sticks along a single section of a 1/4 height rock wall, I am only able to get the snap point of the last stick placed on the next section. I place 1-2 sticks between snap points for constructing defensive spikes, so there's not such a big gap between spikes. On horizontal logs, the snap points all work okay. However, it's not working on rock walls. Seem to only be able to build a fence on them as of now.
EDIT: Disregard. Stick snap-points are working on rock walls after-all. First time I attempted this and I had a glitched portion of wall. I had 1/4 logs directly along the base of the wall as a step. Once removed, I was able to get snap-points along the rock wall.

As for snap points in general. I think it would be very handy to have a right-click-to-change-snap-points feature. When constructing stick defenses, there are often many snap points in close proximity. (ie, on corners when changing directions). It would be very handy to be able to right click to obtain the snap point that I am trying to use. This applies to logs/rocks as well.

Idk if it's reasonably possible for them to implement, but something like how in Valheim where you can hold shift to bypass snapping and freely place objects would go a LONG way in this game.

Yeah the snapping can be a pain in SOTF when you don't want it to snap.

Ark also has a feature to toggle through snap points, which is a life saver on more complex builds. It would be very helpful here as well. Also toggling to free placement would be incredible.

im having more problems with the snap points not showing up trying to build stone support or electric fences really annoying

Yeah they are buggy. Sometimes they don't show up so then you have to manually best guess where the next stick should go and voila, it let's you make the fence with no connection point. Then when you want to place spikes if you made a fence with connection points you need to put a stick out from the fence to create a connection point in between the fence posts..got it down to a science after 175 days in game. Doesn't even phase or bother me anymore, lol.
