Can't finish on Peaceful

I am running through the game on peaceful mode and I have gotten through the whole thing up until the very end of the VIP Bunker and the final path at the end of the lava cavern is blocked and won't let me through. I am pretty sure i am not missing anything, but I could be wrong. I just want to make sure I don't keep trying if they have prevented those in peaceful mode from getting to the end.

That might be a bug, they have added a requirement that you kill the final boss to get access to to that final passageway, and may have forgotten to allow for that in the peaceful playthrough.

it will be worth posing in bug reports that you have an issue.

I played peaceful the first time and now play custom with reduced aggression and damage. which makes it a lot more practical solo for casual players.
