Night Vision Goggles

...Are terrible.

When you can turn the brightness and gamma up in a game and have more visually pleasing, and an easier to see environment than putting on night vision goggles; then something is wrong.

I was looking forward to these releasing, was like great, my third play-through and I'll have NV goggles, except these are not NV-goggles, they are green-tint-garbage. I could see better with a piece of spinach covering my eyes.

Also side note, please fix the 'above' rails for the laser pointer. I have a laser pointer on my own personal gun, guess where it attaches? Under the barrel. Like every gun. It makes no sense to cover the iron-sights with a damn attachment. Stop adding new and fix the broken/poorly implemented.

content for the sake of content. I can't imagine anyone at Endnight tried this and was like, 'yep that's working exactly as we want it to and we see it becoming an invaluable resource in the players repertoire". more useless junk to pad out the game

Didn’t they make them brighter in the latest update? Disappointed to hear that they are apparently still faint as hell.

Maxed out graphics in DLSS on quality and 4k; not sure. Just can't see with them. I can see Virginia in her white outfit approaching from further with my gamma + brightness on full, than I can with the night vision goggles.

I mean you have to admit, they could be better. Compared to other games the NV sucks.

What's new? The night vision goggles are dark and blurry as all ♥♥♥♥, can't see the laser for the pistol attachment, and any fog that would otherwise be barely visible without them suddenly becomes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white glowing mists from the eldritch beyond. The laser sight on the pistol is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too. It sticks up so high that it renders ADS completely pointless, and it's not all that effective anywhere past like 20 to 30 feet away. Like most weapon attachments in this game, it's more effective to simply not use it. The only attachment worth anything is the flashlight attachment. That's it. There isn't a scope upgrade for the bolt action, no side mount for the laser, night vision isn't worth the time and effort put into acquiring it.

Just grab the shotgun, the pistol, the bolt action, the flashlight attachment, the silencer attachment, stock up on slug shells, pistol and rifle rounds, and call it a day. The rest is completely useless.
