the survival book issue

why does this game have 2 separate building pages, its a lot more annoying to have to constantly hold x to switch back and forth compared to the original game where it was all in one book and you did not have to constantly keep switching

Well, the one on the right side is just a tutorial on how to build and on the left side there are placeable blueprints. Once you know the basics you´ll never need to look at the right book again.

One is freestyle, one prefab.

And i never feeled the need to constantly switch...

but then why not just have it all in the same book like the first game then also the first game allowed you to see all your stats in the book as well why is that absent in this game

for players starting new to this game they have to constantly switch, it just seems to be tedious compared to the first game where it was all on the same book no switching whatsoever

It's probably because the stats themselves are absent, maybe for good or they will be implemented later. The only real stat there is is the strength stat on the ui telling you when you are leveling up your health.
