Remove/Destroy Large Rocks?

Is there currently a way to remove/destroy large rocks. I found a good spot for a base but it has several large rocks/boulders

nope, but you can place vertical logs and build over them.

Late reply but you can just hold C on any rock or log to rip it out of its structure or ground

Prob not the rocks he's talking about.

Annoying isn't it. It seems like anything part of the "permanent" scenery can't be removed (for example, the helicopter crash site etc).

It would be nice if we could use one of the Axes to brake up the big Boulders into smaller ones. Example: Maybe restrict it to only the large axe can do that job.

I think we should be able to use the Force to levitate the big rocks.
