Seriously who thought this was how you eat fish in a survival situation, devs?

I am no survival expert, nor am I someone who has ever gone camping out in the woods or anything like that. BUT I know... No one eats fish that hasnt been gutted, bite the head off first and just take a bite on the side of it, scales and all.

I mean look at the person we play as from the og game they cut off body parts and eat them and use the parts for building safe to say the people we play as could give two fs about eating a fish a certain way

The fish eating sounds put me off too, i'd rather eat an arm or a foot tbh. The sound of fish eating definitely needs a tweak too.

What baffles me, is that someone was tasked with making this animation, and THIS is what they came up with?!?
Yes, Yes, Early-Access, and you gotta start somewhere... but why start with an animation as weird and akward as possible? It's not a good foundation to build upon.
Also, the cooked fish animation, is the same as the raw fish animation, which sucks.

It's stupid, something a punk kid would program into a game thinking it was funny. The head of the fish wouldn't be eating first and it would be boiled as part of a soup if anything. Not even in 3rd would countries would they eat the head teeth and all raw, you couldn't even chew it, and the fishes teeth would cut your mouth.

The game is trying to show someone who is literally dying of starvation every time he eats, it doesn´t have different animations for the same action.

Bear Grylls clearly shows that eating a fish raw and whole is no problem as I showed in the video above. And yes, depending on the fish you can also eat a raw fish head :
