can't use keyboard/mouse

This is maybe an odd problem...
When I start the game it is in controller mode. If I move the mouse around I do get for 1 second into mouse/keyboard mode and then back to controller... My controller is not even turned on!

Is that because of my linux? (I do not have windows anymore)
It's a garuda linux (archlinux) and just updated it 5 minutes ago.

Only thing i can think to try is to unplug the controller and relaunch the game.

I even tried restarting the whole pc with an unplugged controller but that does not help.

I found it!
You helped me, because of your comment I tried some other things:
start the game
without keyboard
change the mouse

I did remember that we have non-controller which are recognized as controller.. None of that helped... But I found the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ option where I can actually see all connected controller...
It was my (forgotten) foot switch... somehow it counts as a controller instead of a keyboard?! unplugged it and everything works now.

So if anyone have the same problem: Hunt ALL your hardware down :)
(Seeing all controllers is [be caeful I am german so my translation may be off]
Preferences/Options -> Controller -> General Controller Setting

Nice one! Its normally always something like that when you get those sorts of issues.

Happened to me a while back with another game where the mouse kept moving on its own and i was so confused. Turns out it was my steering wheel and i was accidentally moving it with my leg while playing. :)
