Trees / Ladders

I have 2 suggestions

1. Trees drop pine cones / seeds that you can re-planted, and they slowly regrow. Its a bit sad the empty landscape from clearing. Id love to regenerate the forest ive cut down and use this as another way to decorate the base

2. Ladders. The stairs being one log wide and being unable to be built flush against a wall is quite frustrating. A ladder would open up a whole new option for smaller house designs with access to multiple levels (cute loft beds, the ability to get on the roof without a huge flight of stairs).

Agreed, also I would love the option to have decorative bushes/small trees that we could plant in something similar to the gardening planter

i like the stick ladder idea. i hate stairs indoors, they take up too much space (footprint). I design around using ropes. In the first Forest, I'd make 2-wide stone stairs that I'd hop up on, took less space and was easier to integrate with other design elements. A ladder would be a good additional option.

1. the trees do regrow it just takes a really long time they start off as saplings then grow into trees i cleared a huge chunk of land to build my first base on about day 25 and now im on day 130 and i have small trees starting to grow in that clearing

2. that's what ropes are for

Do you leave or chop stumps to get this to happen?

Thats really interesting, Ive been looking online for confirmation if trees / bushes regrow and I got the impression this was unconfirmed rumour.

Thanks for the rope suggestion, im pretty new and didnt realise. Can Virginia / Kelvin climb ropes? Ladder would be aesthetic and more homely IMO, but definitely need friends to be able use them.

it dose not matter it will happen ether way as far as i know but i personally remove stumps out of habit from the first game

no Virginia / Kelvin can not use ropes but im sure they would not be able to use ladders ether if they were added their pathing really needs improvement
