Thanks Ima try that today.
besides that, i meant which traps are useful in a siege situation? should i invest more in bonemakers or swatters or other traps? BTW the fly swatter also works on deer.
if i am being sieged by a mix of large enemies be it mutants or cannibals, what kind of traps should i consider using?
SIEGE situations are what i am worried about, especially cuz i am concerned about my base since i am gonna be playing with 2 other new players (my friends) and i KNOW they will be just staying at the base 24/7 and they WILL be hopeless at defending the base whilst im away exploring caves etc.
bonemakers - more trouble than worth, as I keep walking over them and setting myself on fire.
Spring Trap - funny and deadly but a waste of turtle shells
Radio alarm - only really useful if you have a large base and set up funnel points, as the sound will lead you to them if they attack the otherside of your base. but does no damage. On the plus side you can't set it off
Swatters - effective and cost effective, lay around the outside of your parameter fence
Hokey Pokey - great in combination with the radio alarm, I use these for pinch points, bridge or gate entrances etc where the enemy will be funnelled in. Two advantages with these 1) you won't set it off yourself & 2) they stay dangerous whilst swinging so can get multiple kills.
TL;DR Use swatters around your walls, Hokey Pokey across your entrances.
And remember after every raid to tell Kelvin to Build/Reset Traps - so you don't have to.
