how do I power the small cabin prefab?
I placed a solar panel and wired the diagonally support beam with a wire. as well as the middle one but the bulb attached doesn't work.

when I just wire the top middle beam of the roof, a bulb there also doesn't work. how do Iight up this cabin?

Only thing I could think off, make sure the solar panel cable touches the diagonal support beam.
Other that than, probably just buggy. Had a light not working for days, was out for a stroll through the forest, came back to my base and light was on.
Early Access features I guess.

I also could not get light to work in the prefab cabin. I get light to work all over my camp where I created free form structures. But the prefab... nope. I think it's was an oversight by the developers. You would think the prefab structures would be the easiest to light. Maybe they will fix it someday.

yeah I gave up, dark medieval times is the style we go. can't enjoy the light anyways, theres cannibals flooding the location 3/4th of the day and I cnanot leave without them stealig all the logs. I wish the AI would take a break from sending loads of cannibals because somehow they would realise that pointlessly dying to a guy in a cabin isn't worth it. unless they like their hads on a stick.

I think I saw someone mentioning electricity only works with custom structures, not the blueprint buildings.

Nah, I use light on one of the sheds you can build and it works fine there.
