My base looks like a football stadium from far away with the lightbulbs. Maybe you arent using enough
What do you mean with, not using enough? How many do you have in youre base?
I have one per Room in my Appartment RL and they are ... lightbulby bright. So what is enough lightblulbs for you in a room to lighten it up? xD
Game is already pretty cpu intense, now imagine a big base with real lights
If a player can't SEE then there is no game. PC games are a VISUAL medium.

Well I got one bulb for every beam. Its not like they are very rare. So I put them at every beam. And why not?
Yeah, your room in Real Life. Are there also cannibals in your real life?
>Are there cannibals in real life
Uh.. Yeah? More common than you think lmao
I haven't tested the bulbs yet but I 100% agree with this. Nights should be brightened up. I usually just sleep because nights are just pitch black. I'd much rather stay up and wait on the mutant attack or see good night graphics or something. Having it pitch black just sucks imo.
There is a different between making something realistic and making something completly ridiculous.
As someone said, sure, it's a "horror-game". But making everything super dark has nothing with horror to do, it's just annoying cluttering youre place with torches and lights. And i bet it can even tone down your FPS when you not have a super expensive Gaming PC.
At least in other games, and in the old Forest i felt when i build too much.
