Vehicle
I stopped using knight v its just so clanky uncontrollable its useless , only good for a long straight line on the beach area ... so many other survival games have one thing in common , a 4 wheeler and i would have been happy with one of those . Electric Mtn Bike- Golf Cart- Dirt Bike- 3 Wheeler Dirt Bike- any of those would have been fun . Knight V makes me get motion sick and fall off constantly .... It wasnt made to be used with a controller which is what a lot of pc users use now adays , atleast with the other vehicles mentioned you could cross water with them and not fall off, lose it down stream .

I can't comment on how good or bad the knight v is because I got it, used it long enough for the novelty to go away and then never used it again. It just doesn't seem like it has any real use outside of making you look like a clown. What I can comment on is that I don't use a controller, I didn't even know it was an option. I only use a controller for souls games because I am a casual noob.

With practice its pretty useful actually. They did something kind of similar in the first game where they added the stinky but fun to use flintlock because people wanted guns. Call it a con but I think it's great that they go the unexpected route.

I would say it is useless but for different reason. It randomly disappears and you have to get another one.

I disagree, most PC users dont use controllers and the knight V is handy, I always use mine.

flintlock was amazing it killed every mutant in 2-4 shots on hard vs wasting 30 arrows bowing them to death, the unicycle on the otherhand is useless falling off from hitting a pebble and being worse than diagonal running in every scenario than a perfect bridge

Agree. I'm playing from my sofa on a TV with my PC and use a mouse/keyboard. I am more prone to controller on 3rd person games for some reason. Controller support increasing over years, but mouse/keyboard still what most people I know use.

Regarding the Knight we've found it useful primarily on the beaches to travel longer distances fast, as well as a base we've got on the airstrip. You can travel the length of that very fast to loot cases/etc. Probably alright if you get one over to the golf course?
Its got its specific uses. Kinda like the hang glider. I've never had much luck with it in caves.

I agree with the quad bike idea. It would be useful in many scenarios and would be a better replacement for the Knight V. As an example situation, it could be used is as a log puller. it could be fitted with a log pole trailer or a choker chain to wrap around the logs to pull them from location to location. it would mitigate any need for the log sled entirely and introduce a more intuitive and engaging mechanic to the game.

To be frank, I am sick of pushing logs around a map. The Forest made sure of that. A quad bike is the best solution that can satisfy other uses as well. Make fuel more costly to operate it, etc. Balance would make such a utility vehicle extremely useful. Also, if the cannibals could steal it from you, that would be even more entertaining. Also, it would be pretty fun to be able to run down some cannibals like Dominoes. Can't really do that very good on the Knight V.

i had thought that if there was 1 or maybe 2 special golf carts that were in "good enough condition" that you could find parts from other carts and then get repaired, that would make sense.

Yeah, it's a bit clunky to control with the keyboard. Maybe allow mouse steering with it?

Good to see people enjoying the Knight V, I didn't but am okay with that. But would love to see anything on 2 wheels maybe someday ingame.
