Compund Bow Sight
Endnight Plzz add a Glow DOT bow sight like the ones we can use in real life , i deer hunt in real life with a compound bow and i have sights i can turn on that makes the tips of the sights glow different colors for different yards ..... i think it would help to give pple just one glow dot to use . As for the crafted bow it could be a bone sight that is painted red that is attached on the bow like a compound bow .

Shall we have them add a Cabella's to one of the small islands as well? Perhaps a McDonalds and casino as well? I hunt as well - wild boar, deer... pretty much if I can shoot it and eat it, I hunt it. I've hunted with bow as well as rifle, and while I prefer the rifle, I can manage just fine with a bow. I know the sights you're talking about, and if that's what you like, that's fine with me. I prefer a vastly more traditional (and reliable) sighting method: knowing how to aim.

Yeah I wouldn't mind this for the compound bow. People seem to have the strangest opinions about really simple suggestions like this, I don't see how some kind of pin sight would suddenly detract from the game.

Archery is a skill, and those who are skilled at it tend to frown on things that eliminate skill from the equation. It's also already as simple as it gets to aim the bow.

no it's not that.people don't agree just to say something.if they add sights it will be removable(like other weapons).so DON'T USE IT IF YOU DON'T LIKE BUT LET THE OTHERS HAVE THE OPTION.

Archery is a skill but you don't aim like this irl with a ghetto style.. pog

i shoot traditional turkish bow irl. you need to become one with the bow and feel where the arrow goes...
allright its a videogame you can´t feel sh*t so yeah a sight for the compound would be appreciated.

When i am shopping for a compound bow, i don't think i see one (atleast decent CB) that doesn't have an inbuild sight.

I know I am late to the party but (I just stumbled over this lovely game and realised this and also that there are quite a lot of misconceptions about archery out here in the discussions and especially about Compound bows.

So I am a compound Archer with about 7 years of experience and have been shooting intuitive (no sight) archery before.

the thing is: even due to camsystems producing more poweroutput while given same powerinput than other bows, the whole Point of modern Compound Bows is having a sight. and having "Let Off" (meaning what the Cams do is saving big parts of the transfered energy resulting in less heavier drawweight in Full Draw (means if you pull the bow out fully the weight is way less than you have to keep up holding than your initial pull) which enables you to actually sight in after draw and (if your technique is right) reliably hit targets the size of a beer can +50 yards away which is near to impossible with other bows. and using a compound to shoot it intuitive may not be impossible but pretty hard and pretty pointless because you strip it of its main construction feature. leaving you with a bow that is ergnomically built to be used with a sight but no sight on it making it even harder to shoot it intuitive because it is almost impossible to align things the same way you would with a traditional bow.

oh and bytheay. As someone who shoots both compound and intuitive I can tell you. Nope sights won't make things easier. it just puts you on another level and expands what is possible but therefore gets more demanding. it makes things that had been unthinkable possible and therefore just creates new challenges because no matter how good you are if you shoot intuitive you'll never be able to hit with the same precision you'd do with a Sight.

It's basically like comparing something like a shotgun to a scoped bolt action rifle.
