Sticks not working right! They Break every time you go near them!

When you place a fence or put a stick in the ground and walk near it the stick breaks and falls.. also if you make a stick into a spike and walk near it it breaks too.. Please fix this is making it very hard to defend our base

After you place the Stick put 3 big Rocks to the ground

You have to put 3 rocks at the base of each stick to reinforce them and then after that you just need to whack them one time with the repair hammer after a few attacks to keep them from breaking and doing their job of killing all the baddies that will attack you.

Why would you do that? If you put a stick in the ground you should spike it so it kills whatever is attacking you. The Fence in this game isn't made to keep the dog in or look pretty. You aren't supposed to stick a stick in the ground and leave it that way, Yes it will fall down if you don't spike it and put 3 rocks at the base of each stick.

If after you put a stick down spiked with 3 rocks at its base and it falls down then you have a bug.

lol i built a small outpost in that same spot.

to OP, yeah dude you need to put 3 rocks or else it will fall when you are near them, if it still falls even with the 3 rocks then its a glitch

Seems more like a you problem tbh, stick fences need to be reinforced with rocks in case you weren't aware.

After you've stuck the wood stick into the ground and sharpened the end of it, pick up a stone and stand next to the wood spike and you will see a highlighted circle where the stone will auto drop. I couldn't be any clearer other than to post a video.
