Virginia in Peaceful Mode

So I am running a couple of different games, a regular one for when my buddies can play and a peaceful one for just enjoying the forest. Now I love Virginia in regular mode, but in peaceful mode I actually find her EXTREMELY ANNOYING. She is CONSTANTLY UNDERFOOT. Constantly following me, trying to get my attention, scaring off deer and getting trees dropped on her because she won't leave me alone. Finally, at my wits end with this chicsa, I have built a trap and sealed her in it... I hope she is stuck there until I complete the game!!!

Update: Virginia escaped!!! I just couldn't take it anymore, so I shot her in the head with my crossbow and left her to bleed out. Imagine my surprise when she showed up next morning wanting my attention! So I shot her in the head with my 9mm... didn't work... she's still alive. Although she has now become more wary of me, so if it works to keep her away, hurray!! :)

Yep. Though I’m pretty sure she’ll teleport just like Kelvin if you walk far enough away. I could be wrong; I never tried to trap her. What happens if you save/exit/reload? Is she still in there?
