Building help, fill a section with a crossed log?
I can put 2 logs, weirdly it doesn´t cut the second log but it does cut the third log meaning I can´t fill the upper "triangle".

Any solution to this?

You need to cut the log into a quarter log manually then it will fit, also thanks for your help with the floors yesterday

I tried that, it won´t let me fit to the upper part ... I can only place them from right to left ... not from left to right.

I don't know why it always works for me when I cut it, can you send a video?

Don´t know if this link works here. When I place the logs they get cut at the crossed log and as you see I can´t place the small log on the other side.

I have seen it done on a Youtube video, just can´t find it now.

So I did this myself, and is deep in a build, but when you do the stairs you HAVE to place upper logs at the bottom left right after you make the first step THEN fill the walls, you have no logs to make it fill in the whole space if that's what you're trying to do.

I am trying to fill the whole space .... or it just leaves an empty triangle. You could do it before the patch ... now it cuts them.

I had the same problem. I think it depends on what side you place the log under it. I tried deconstructing a triangle and starting it again by placing the log from the other side. I mean the arrow pointing left or right for the base of your triangle. It worked for me.

Yeah, stupid that I can´t just choose which side I wish to place the log in, it´s forcing me to place from right to left .... can´t get the arrow to point the other way.

Trying to tell you your problem is you need upright logs at the bottom of your stairs. But I made it sound complicated, you can only place them once you place your first step.

you'll also need to demo the horizontal logs to place the upright log. then refill the horizontal logs.

Okay I didn't see what he was getting at, thanks. I would say that sometimes you try many times and it doesn't want to do what you want it to do and then out of the blue for some reason it lets you do it. Keep trying is my advice you might get lucky

FINALLY!!!!

However, the method to actually accomplish this would have eluded me forever, the explanation is weird and there is no logic behind it.

A Youtube video came to my rescue, it boggles my mind how he figured this out.

It´s all about which way the floor planks are placed. I took the floor planks off and placed them again aligning with the bottom log and I could then place whole logs on top, these didn´t get cut at the crossed log intersection.

My modest little hut is now finished ... sort of, need to clear the surrounding area.
