What do I Need to do to Make Virginia Spawn?

The first time I start playing I build my base right at the spawn point... As soon as I placed the first log on the ground Virginia spawned and stalked me, so I assume that she start stalking as soon as you start to build a base or something? Well... I deleted that save and started a new one because I wanted to build in a different place (in an opened area on the beach, close to where we spawn), I'm building for like 1 hour (and, previously while Kel collected logs, I explored the close-by cave) and yet she didn't start to stalking me.

Do I need to do something or, eventually, she'll appear? Or do I need to be in some specific areas, or what?

She will show up eventually.

Stay at a river or lake, check if there are berries nearby and then cut down trees. This should attract her and stay near.

make a camp first of all, she will approach you many times usually at night time but might act scared get closer to her with nothing equipped she will do this many times until she gives you something (usually a plant or sticks) then go up to her and simply interact and she should be your companion

Thanks, I saw her far as hell on the beach, but yeah, eventually she came close.
