Spawn Radius
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that this is an issue that is actively being worked on. I really hope to see some improvement. There needs to be an established spawn radius for Raids, Scouts, Parties, etc, based on the locations of players and built structures.

My current camp, that I've worked on so far for 90 days IG, Consists of One tree house, A 3x3 tower for zip-lines and weapon storage, and a Longhouse 7x5ish for food/bed/generalstorage/decor. There is minimal space in between these buildings, it's really NOT a big camp at all and It even needs expanding so that there is room for farms, rain catchers and other such things.

Despite my camps small stature enemy raids seem to constantly spawn inside. The whole base is walled, and spiked off. When raids spawn /outside/ the camp. They barely stand a chance with my current defenses. Even the glitchy rubber band man tends to eat it on my spike wall.

Yet constantly, when I go maybe 100 yards away to send logs back up to camp I come back to a pile of popcorn babies glitched under my buildings, or random groups of natives running around kicking in doors and whatnot. I spent an hour gathering and sending out logs, just to have a whole corner of my zipline tower completely disappeared because some random dude spawned in and took out one specific support beam.

I aint gonna accept that kind of loss over a bug. Reset. Two hours of my life gone (because I now have to respend the original hour getting all those logs again.

If something like this had happened naturally (raid party comes from off in the distance, and breaks through my defenses and overwhelms my camp) I would accept that damage no questions asked, because That should be a part of the game. However, when mr rubber band spawns inside my house and explodes the whole floor right out from underneath it. It just rubs me the wrong way.

There needs to be some kind of radius with which enemies do not spawn. (If there is one, it must be an incredibly short distance, because parties will spawn right in front of your very eyes within ~15 meters of where you are standing. This becomes increasingly noticeable as you continue to clear cut the forest surrounded your base and you just start watching these groups spawning in the middle of an empty field. Fact is these groups and raids need to be spawning out past the horizon where they would then come running up from a distance.

I get from a balance aspect you can't put a *No Spawn* radius on every single player built object or it might stop spawns altogether for people who build all over the place, but also if a player decides to do something like that, who cares, it is just their style. At the very least there needs to be like a 200m radius for beds, tents, and other important things that would signify _this is a player's base don't spawn here_ You could do a much shorter radius on the players themselves, as they are gonna be constantly on the move, but there needs to be something large and static for bases themselves, because enemies spawning inside of bases is going to ruin this game for a LOT of people.

I have faith that you guys are going to make this better it really wasn't much of an issue at all in the first game, but it's just so aggravating right now I can't NOT complain...

This really isn't asking for a lot. Even simple games like 7 days and minecraft have a no-spawn radius on beds and players...

I'm glad this wasn't just my experience... I had thought it was me. Fortunately, I haven't had anything spawning inside actually destroy anything, but it's bs to turn around and see an enemy (much less, multiple enemies) standing there in the middle of your base looking to borrow a cup of sugar... No motherf***ker you canNOT borrow a cup of sugar. How the hell did you even get in here? Did someone let you in? Did Kelvin let you in? You can be honest; if he let you in, I might let you stay instead of him.

THIS! I literally watched a huge group of cannibals spawn right inside my walls (which are not far from my small house) and then just proceed to smash everything, what's the point of defenses if they are just going to spawn inside them (reminds me of the buggy Fallout 4)

I made a walled off cabin and a bridge to another building in the middle of a lake. I've seen cannibals run from that house in the middle of the lake like they were spawning there, makes absolutely no sense.

Yeah, it's the kinda thing that makes me meh about jumping in to play. I mean, I feel like the game is pretty empty given the size of the game world, and lacks certain polish (someone in a review mentioned the lack of a sound when discovering journal entries and the depth of unraveling a deeper story, etc.) but it's early access... I get that. So I figure, ok I'll just enjoy it as a building simulator for now and little by little they'll improve and refine any rough spots and things will be great. However, with enemies spawning inside of your camp, it's like what's the point? I can't even really enjoy that.

3 floors high zero issues 180 days.

Treehouses are spawn city avoid.

Build 3 floors high and nothing can spawn in.

Yeah, except that I had read somewhere that tree houses are something to be avoided since enemies can climb

I did have an experience where on one of the cliffs near the western beach, a mass of cannibals, normal and red ones, just spawned all from one spot right in front of me. Hasn't happened since, may have been fixed, but it was very weird.

Same thing happens to me i build a sharpened defense wall on flat ground all the way around till the ends touch and they spawn in on top of logs i have placed standing up that are not sharpened as if they are jumping over a wall and invading ... and tube worm man just appears out of thin air in my base ive seen it happen multiple times .... enemies appear like they were invisible and like surprise we have stealth armor like the predator ... and Arnold Schwarzenegger cant save me from it ....
