Door is backwards?

Is the door suppose to be backwards? The smooth part is facing outside and the lock is on the outside, I can't rotate it or anything.

Just disassemble the door using “c” on keyboard and try from different side

Sometimes you have to set the door up several times before it does it the way you want it to face. I tried from inside and outside and it wouldn't set it up the correct way, but then on about the 8th try it worked.......this game acts like it's still in beta testing.

I've tried that multiple times before making this post and I just now got it to work. The angles are very weird and just don't want to work with me

I think it's the same problem for most of us.

i got my door to revers by getting the "placement arrow" to be on the left side of the doorway instead of the right side, did not seem to make a difference switching inside or outside.
