A sight for the Crossbow?

I'm a bit miffed at the iron sights for the crossbow, it's pretty annoying to use. And most attachments you can put on are useless; the laser sight and flashlight block your vision and are ineffective when hip-firing. (Also please add a suppressor to the shotgun, that would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rad.)

In some of the leaks and teasers there is a scope coming so I can imagine that it will work on the cross bow

The crossbow aim etc is perfect. It requires nothing.

the problem is you can add the laser sight but its useless because you cant hip-fire anyway

i dunno what crossbows you have seen or used, but im pretty sure the one in this game uses a spaghetto noodle as a bowstring

Ok i will say this...... i have the pistol and shotgun use neither as the crossbow is an amazing killer. That and the comp bow.

This said, as people have stated the crossbow seems to aim true.

It would be very nice to get actual ironsights or a decent crossbow scope with drop incriments

There is an iron sight on the crossbow already, when you reload the gun you’ll notice it be pulled back

I just checked to be sure... there is no iron sight on the crossbow at present.

When you reload, for reasons unknown, the block with the weaver/ picatinny rail moves backwards (Note that I have never seen this happen on any crossbow i have handled irl, it is very odd). This is the depression that is brought to your face when you bring the crossbow up to aim and fire.

It is shocking how often films etc. get these basics wrong.

Plus it's probably not even iron. You can tell from the grain pattern that it is cast aluminum, which is prone to cracking and recycling.

Look at this point you're embarrassing yourself.

What you have highlighted is a rail. They are very common on modern firearms. What they are not, is a sight.

I've been using that as an Iron sight as that seems to be where the arrow goes, I never really realized that was just the rail, it works better than the laser that's for sure

Y'all over here arguing about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ semantics about what to call the part the game provided us to aid in aiming.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point is - For something that reload so slow, and being semi-auto, deserves to have a precision scope to further help not missing a shot.

This is an old thread but the issue is still present, using any attachment with the crossbow is bad, laser doesn't work (red line disappears and you can't even hip fire that thing), flash light goes on top so it obscures the aim, and I wish it reloaded automatically after shooting...
