Kelvin is stuck somewhere on the northern part of the map.

Hello everyone.

Im playing on my own dedicated server with friends, and Kelvin has disappeared! i can see his blue K somewhere on the left northern side. Our base in in the middle.

I have tried to sleep, no difference.
i have tried to save, exit game and start again, no difference.
i have tried to get into a cave and back again, no difference.
get killed and spawned up in a camp, no difference.

Anything more to get Kelvin back!?

I lost Kelvin near the ice cave. I tried all the steps you did. Eventually I had to climb that big mountain, find him and lead him back down to my camp. Almost lost him on the way down a couple of times. What a journey. Try and find him by following the blue mark.

we are having the same issue but he isnt there at all when we go to that spot and hes not dead either no idea how to get him back

He usually comes back eventually, could take days though.

It's been 20 days now since he disappeared! :)

i guess i have to take my onewheeler and take a long "walk" and see if i can find him.

Yeah he's probably gone then.

Of all the times he's disappeared on me he came back all but once.

Yea I gave up trying to recover him as well. Two different dedicated servers he has gotten stuck. Northern part of map.

he gets stuck under houses over houses and all over the map. A.I just isnt great yet

Yes!
Same thing happened to me. Found a way to get him back. You have to edit the SaveData.json file in the 0000000001 folder. Find "typeid\":9" This is Kelvin. Check the x and y coordinates. My guess is that one of them is way out. Change it to be close to "typeid\":10", which is Virginia. Then, reboot with updated file. Hope this helps.

I went to a looong run now to find him, thought he maybe was at sea somewhere. But he was almost at the golf court at the right side. But when i stand almost next to him i couldn't see him. 😭 So i guess his stuck under the texture?

For the past few days, Kelvin has been stuck on the grid. He is walking up against a post below my base I've built across the water. Just marches along, up against the post. I've told him to "Follow me" and tried to get him out. No luck. I've abandoned him at that base and moved along to another base, but several days later his blue marker still shows up at the old base. Now I have to do all the tedious grunt work myself. Woe is me.

OMG! it worked! Not right away, i had to play for like 10min or so but then hi come running through the forest!

Well... it worked a few days, but now he is stuck somewhere again. Even after the patchupdate i dont have my Kelvin back. :( Guess i have to modify the files again...
