Ones focus is building and crafting. The Forest focus is on a stranger things spooky narrative and only lightly touches on survival, building or crafting.
One has zombies, the other has mutants and cannibals. Very different entities.
7d2d you can easily burn thousands of hours. The Forest you might get 50 to 100 hours tops on average.
It's okay to say you prefer 7d2d or like it better. But saying they are similer or the same is nearly an outright fabrication to put it bluntly.
First point: I agree.
Second point:To date the story isnt there, so I judge it as is. It is like 7D2D and falls short.
3rd point: They blend in the same for me unles the story pulls me away enough to believe there is a difference.
4th point: I can easily burn a lot of hours on a well thought out game. Beyonf that, I dont get what you're saying.
5th point: My preference is a good game. I play so many different games, and love the good as do we all. I do promise that when my hours played go over 100, the games were all well thought out, expertly executed, and the devs loved what they were doing. It really shows.
But fun of course is subjective.
We, the buyers, are the ones that will sell this game, so get this one. It has good legs/bones. You can improve your 20 hours into a rip off in your favor getting this game now, but I dont doubt you get simple math, just dont let the good games go is all im saying.
Hang on now. Defiance is going to have some problems with this assessment. He is unable to discern between summer and winter currently ...
seriously. Shill harder next time. this isnt a GOOD GAME right now and it CERTAINLY didnt have a good start. most lies i read in awhile.
the game is currently worse than the first game in nearly every aspect ASIDE graphics (which to be real isnt a suprise given the year they got released in each)
and this game needs more than a 50% improvement to surpass the first game. that is for certain. but given the course the updates took till now its not looking good for this game to manage to turn around anymore.
