Errm, a roof? It dosent rain or snow inside my little shack. Can you post screens of what it looks like inside?
Roof is on, someone else suggested to do the entire ceiling, which i did. Tore of the roof, planked the whole thing , put the roof back on. Rain or snow is still at 100% wetness inside.

Can you post a screen? It would probably be the only way we could help.
Trying to figure out how to do that now

Hit f12 in the game, post it online publicly then drop the image link here.

Neat I like the stone framework.

Yeah idk, it shouldn't be doing that inside. You even went and added a floor under the sloped roof.

Dunno, guessing it's just a bug. Luckily it should just be a visual issue and shouldn't effect you much.

That's the exact same thing that happened to me. That's why i started to try different builds on the cabins with different material. Tried the stone fireplace, but that gave off ZREO heat. And the reinforced fires just keeps de-spawning and taking my water pot with it!

Guess it is time to just shelf this game for a few months and see if they can fix anything. Thanks everyone for trying to help.

Might be a glitch in your save file, if you start a new game do all those fix?

Usually a roof should be enough to stop rain and snow unless you have some kind of bug going on. I do put wall torches, campfires, and standing torches for extra warmth to avoid getting cold.

There a lot of bugs this patch, I had to stop playing.
I have built 6 buildings without any issues using only logs/wood. If i build anything that has the new stone in it anywhere, the rain and snow comes right through and can not be heated.

Toss it in the monstrous bug report pile over on the report bugs boards. It's pretty obvious none of this was tested in the slightest, before being released to the public. XD

I as well. Not just because performance is in a tar pit for the past 3 updates, but because the bugs are piling up and making the experience an unenjoyable one, I have done the same. IMO, this game was too early for Early Access.

I have built two exact same houses. One has snow going through the ceilling and the other one doesn't. I tried to adjust the leaking roof but nothing would fix it, it feels like somehow one house got corrupted. It's defenitly bugged, I saw people saying 45° roof would leak, others wouldn't. No. It's more complicated than that. Somewhere in the building process there is some bug preventing the structure to recognize a roof, it doesn't mean the same way of roofing won't work on another structure....
