How do you run admin commands in game? I have my UID set properly and I am shown as owner in the listing. Just not sure what to open to run commands.

Hey team, struggling a bit over here. SOTF Dedicated Server is installed, ports are open, and the CMD window gets to 'StartingOpeningCutScene' and stops there. We saw in previous comments to launch SOTF Dedicated Server tool before launching SOTF game from Steam, and have tried both the .exe and .bat from SOTF Dedicated Server directory. Once SOTF game is launched, we're unable to then start a multiplayer game under dedicated. Any ideas?

The server should be running once you reach that cutscene log. The server is merely paused waiting for players to connect if you have not changed the IdleDayCycleSpeed in the config from 0. If players are not connected, this sets the time speed to a value between 0 (stopped) and 1 (regular speed).
how do i put my saved game to my server. what file do i need to upload to it

Finally a dedicated server - that's great! Just wondering - the server is running freshly started, with no players, with 6 GB RAM in total. That sounds quite a lot to me. Is that a expected amount of RAM required?

Thanks for creating this! I'll be nice for just being able to pop online without waiting on others to be available.

Are there any minimum system requirements for hosting the dedicated server (RAM, CPU, etc.)? Just curious on what to allocate resource wise for best stability.

I've started and joined the server and been simply bumping resources until it stopped. The SOTF-server process was running with ~30% CPU (Xeon E5-2673 v4) with 4 vCPUs and 6.1 GB RAM.

So I guess the minimum RAM requirements would be 8 GB for the entire system - just barely for the SOTF server.

What IP Address should replace the 0.0.0.0 in the dedicated server config? Should this be the systems private or public IP or something else?

Should be able to leave it as is. As long as the ports explained in the DS setup/Config guide are opened, it should work with the IP field left at default.

That depends on your setup/system and on which interfaces/IPs you want have it listen on. If you have multiple interfaces/IPs, you might want to specify a specific IP. If listening on all interfaces is fine, leave it as it is.
