Game not letting me sleep?

Looked it up and said there was most likely enemies nearby. Slaughtered them. Still can't sleep. I can't even sleep inside the printer bunker. Anyone?

Also, you are only able to sleep every so many hours. So if you are experiencing a "greyed out" sleep icon, where you are unable to activate sleep, you have to wait longer. Otherwise, what gtamike suggested. There may be an enemy that is bugged out/fell into the world that is causing you issues. I've had slinky fall into the rocks at the beach, just under the surface. I could clearly hear it moving around, and it was causing Kelvin to cower and flee. I had to zipline way out of the area in order for that chunk of map to reset. Came back and it was despawned.
