it's a mater of putting things down in the right sequence, everything is about build order. i have more demonstrations on my youtube @SonsOfDeForest, in case you are interested

But once you actually figure all of it out, its super addicting honestly. I don't even touch the progression anymore, spending all my time just building sh**.
Give it a rest for the day & maybe check a vid or 2 tomorrow? I feel the statement, its worth learning about the ins & outs tho.
Aka: Stumps then Foundation then Stairs then Walls then the Roof. (added step of removing all non-required support posts when you have the struts in place, also Walls can be done last too if you want to edit your build more easily.)
