door lock, stick

Really odd. I place the stick on the inside door and it only shows on the outside! Why would I lock the outside? What could be wrong?

The door/wood can be attached from both sides.
Unless you've created a default house.

Read the patch notes.
You need to put the door from inside into the frame. Then you can put the stick inside.

Remove the door with C and go inside and reinsert the door. Then place the stick.
Now, you shoudl be able to lock the door from inside.

i'd actually like to be able to put a lock on both sides of a door...lock from outside sometimes, lock from inside sometimes.

yeah, the door needs to be lock-/openable from both sides, otherwise its pretty useless.

my workaround is i build another small room before my original door, with the lock inside, and the original door i put the lock on the outside.
