Why don't the mutant babies drown like the rest of the Creepy Mutants?

They're so prone to swarm attacks and leaping. I feel like it would be a good tactic for someone to survive an encounter with them when arrows/bolts/ammo are low and the player may not be prepared to melee them. It would also allow people who build on lakes not to worry about them creeping their way onto the platform.

Is that intentional, or just a bug that will be addressed? I know the devs read these, and I imagine they're aware of the issue. I hope they fix this in the near future.

I would like to know the answer to this too, built a water base and the babies break it cos they just flop against anything and eventually my structure collapses

I think the baby wannabes used to drown, but not anymore. I'd rather fight any of the other mutants toe-to-toe instead of those sneaky little bastids!
