KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE

I made friends with Virginia, Kelvin is alive. I still can't unlock the achievement KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE as I complete the game. What can I do?

It only triggered for me on my single player run. My first playthrough was with a friend and it didn't trigger for me but triggered for my friend (the host). Only works for the host in multiplayer. not sure your situation

4) Did you find the 'Flower Dress' in one of the bunkers and give it to Virginia
5) Did you have both Kelvin and Virginia just outside the entrance to the Final Bunker

If no to any of these questions, then no achievement.

I don't think 4 and 5 are required. I had beaten the game with a friend already and simply wanted the achievement since it doesn't seem to trigger in multiplayer. I just befriended Virginia and kept them alive and glitched to the end to beat it on a single player file. Got the achievement that way

you don't have to get her the flower dress, that is for another achievement. Not required in keep your friend close

I did everything and still nothing

You dont only have to befiend her but max out your rep with V.
Once you got that achivement, do the ending again and it will trigger.

you have to have virginia at maximum friendship which triggers the chivalry is not dead achievement. only after that will she get to the chopper

Do you have to max out your rep with Virginia? If so, how do you know when it's maxed?

It triggered for me when the room opened to the space looking city and then closed opening the exit. Virginia and Kelvin were also standing in that room with me. I had the golden suite on dont know if that counts as well. But I left and they followed goes to a cut scene.
