Hint: He has none....
The developers describe the content like this:
Cyberpunk 2077 contains strong language, intense violence, blood and gore, as well as nudity and sexual material.
Straight from the store page of cp2077 which correctly describes what's also in sons of the forest, the devs firstly need to correct the description and secondly, add the same nudity filter. I'm sure a small dev is more likely to overlook it but will add it soon.
"Sons Of The Forest contains intense violence, blood and gore, as well as horror themes and occasional nudity."
is wrong exactly? What needs fixing in the description?
I agree.
Wrong game. This is Sons of the Forest.
The Dev's don't "need" to do anything. It is their game... not the other guys game.
But what is more obvious is how you decided to troll bump this discussion after it had gone dormant.
Yes it is since that's in many horror/action games such as just released re4 remake. Nudity and sexual content belongs in the nsfw section.
Though, there is one important bit of information that you're conveniently "dodging" here, and that's that this game is a sequel.
The previous game came out in 2018 and had forum threads were EXACTLY like this one, pretty much from jump. This whole thread is basically just a "copy and paste". All of the arguments are the same. All of the forum personalities showed back up. A bunch of the posts are pretty much direct quotes, without anyone realizing they are. And the trolls are all still here.
Assuming you aren't a troll, (and for the sake of seeing where this rabbit-hole will take us). Your assertion that "Dev small, therefor must take time to build up complaints for nudity filter" falls apart once you realize that this isn't their first rodeo. In the 5 years that "The Forest" has existed, and through all of the updates and hotfixs that game had, they never once added a nudity filter. Even with a forum full of complaints about it. If they wanted to add one to the game they'd have done it THEN, and it would have been in this game from the beginning.
There are two possible conclusions to draw from that. The first is: "They might be taking their time to see how many people actually care." If that is the case, their statistics must be EXTREMELY detailed by now. The second is: "They wanted nudity to be an irrevocable part of the game, and don't really care what you think about it." which is the one that I would wager on, given the evidence.
Ether way...
Bump! =3
PS: Who the hell is playing horror games at work?
If you're playing a bloody, violent horror game around children, and Virginia's see through top is where you draw the line, I feel like you should re-think your priorities. Blood, gore, and intense violence should *also* be NSFW in my opinion.
I do agree that an option to disable it would be nice for the people who do care, but the argument that "kids shouldn't see tiddies, but dismemberment and cannibalism if fine" is really really stupid.
