How do i befriend virginia?

How long does it take? All she does it approach then back off. Do i have to do anything? I know im supposed to attach a gps button to her which i have a couple of but when?

Just be patient the longer u play the game the more she will trust you .. dont run up to her if she comes close to you just stop and watch .. she will start bringing u gifts accept them an before u know it she's on the team !

When she motions for you to follow her then follow her. She will bring you items of food like rabbits and berries. Pick them up. Make sure to place a tracker on her to keep track of her location and slowly she will be more comfortable around you. I gave mine the handgun and just got another from the lifeboat raft and she uses this to shoot cannibals. She also points them out to you if you are following her around. I did this for a bit and now have the 'Chivalry is not dead award' Meaning you have reached maximum affinity with her.

when you reach that affinity to get the achievement, she becomes a nuisance, always in my way whatever i do.

How long does it take exactly?

I've seen some ppl say 5-7 days, but we've been doing things "right" as far as we've read for 19 days now. I even spent a few of those days around camp "just" to let her get familiar and not walk up to her at all, with nothing in hand.

Chick acts like its day 1 still almost. Im about to say screw it and just kill her lol
