yeah, i was wondering the same. I have mine on the roof of my base, and it seems to stay put. So far, after many saves and journeys afar, it's stayed in place. So maybe you can just leave it where ever.

I just wish I built my base up high on the edge of a cliff or something. I'm down near the shore, and never really get to use it.

edit: i just saw uncle piggy's comment. That's too bad. i was hoping it would always be there. oh well.

I have one in my yard since some ingame days and it stays even when I quit and reload the game.

I found two so far and left them both on the east side of the mountain thinking they would respawn in their original spots .. no luck now I gotta go back and get them!

Flew around with it and landed by a Poi area and made a tarp tent so remember where I left it

I just found the Glider by accident and I am thrilled! I carried him all the way over the mountains to my camp. I lost it a few times but luckily was able to pick it up again. I hope he doesn't despawn in my camp, he's great! I like to take it for a few laps and enjoy the beautiful view.

When I got the glider, glided to somewhere, left it at some (non-base) spot, went up to the spot I wanted to visit, it was often gone when I travelled away further and/or for longer. But in any way it spawned in its original snowy mountain side place.
