No i am playing in Hard mode. I can understand the difficulty of what is going on since the last time I made this post. Im noticing the changes as the days go by. 13 days on hard mode, and that includes me dying as it is really difficult, with how the cannibals timing is when they attack, as well as, the mechanics of combat( how they wait for you to attack first, or how they see you wanting to attack, their leap and the cannibals knowledge of me being a straight "killer" and wanting me dead).
There was one cave by a river that was an entrance with no exit. Nothing in it, i was expecting some cave ppls or finding and item. But noting just a cave with nothing in it. Not even an exit
I hear what you're saying though, the caves in The Forest had a lot of them connecting to each other at some points, while SotF caves seem like all separate areas that dead-end after a while.
Just watch Farket's "Let's Plays" on Youtube. He always runs on hard, and even one of the caves I seen him go through had re-spawns of "Fingers" and "Twins" after a few minutes or so of exploring.
That being said, I've run into a few myself that were pretty empty, but that was until I get far enough away from the entrance. (Day 4 to Day 9) Once I hit around Day 15 or so I started seeing a lot more mobs in some of the same caves.
OOOOOO Guts! ya got me! the cave in stuck save in....lawd hab murcy
