Add wild tameable German shepherd/dog or wolf
Like from fall out 4…
- Perhaps it’s taming system is like Virginia but instead of getting scared and running away, it starts growling and bites you if you get too close.
- If you give it a certain type of raw meat then it will calm down a bit but it can still be aggressive.
- To actually tame the dog you would have to keep on repeating the process a certain amount of times until complete and the dog trusts you.

The forest did have a female teenager, I don't know why not in this game. They did continue with the babies though.

Hard sell if you are going to give the player agency to kill anything closely resembling a real child. You aren't likely to see that for a variety of reasons.

Maybe it would be a little messed up to defend yourself against cannibal children
Dying Light had you drop kicking zombie kids. This game could get away with it too

I only killed the teen girl in the forest if I had to. They made her sound to much like a real person. I'm glad there's no teen girls in this one.

Not like we kill mutant babies in the game and children were tested and sacrificed in the first game… I think it could work
Spoiler alert the final boss in the last game was a little girl who after we killed we also tried sacrificing her to bring back our dead son who someone else sacrificed to bring the little girl back to life, spoiler again we end up sacrificing someone else’s child to being Timmy back to life, the developers don’t have a problem with having dark aspects. Also wouldn’t be resemble a real child but a cannibal child. So they definitely could but really they just need to get the idea pushed up to them. The last game had a female teenager cannibal. Also you ever play the last of us?
I don't think you are getting my point of actually letting the player kill an NPC that looks like a human child. I'm not talking about something that resembles a kid. I'm talking about the idea of kill some feral cannibal that literally is a kid. I'm not talking about killing a kid NPC when you are removed from the process somehow, like when it happens off screen. The mutant babies are just lumps of ♥♥♥♥. The end boss isn't a kid when you kill her. If you cross a certain line, and I don't know where that line is, your game gets a big fat AO rating in the US and that's terribly bad for sales. Hell, Fallout 3 had you doing all sorts of horrible things, but when it came to the kids enclave they just drew a big fat line of NOPE.

I’m not against the idea, just can’t imagine the legal department going around it. Maybe if they introduced unkillable friendly cannibal tribes into the game?

man that would cause all sorts of legal issues. The babies are literal monsters so that gets a pass. But human kids thats gonna be a hard sell and not worth the effort.

yea this, i have the feeling OP is not thinking about this.
its already a critical thing that ya kill humans. now imagine its actual children. it would explode in the media and news, parents would flip out and screaming stuff like "this game supports child abuse" and all sorts of things....

next time think before you make a request like this. it would literarly cause a lot of drama.
the forest thing caused already trouble. its probably the reason why they avoided it in this one.

They can´t. If they do the game will be banned in many countries like the one where I come from.

Their ai is pretty advanced and is only getting better, I would delete this discussion but it won't let me smh. I think after a few updates we'll all see a great difference in the Ai. They do have a really small team

I like the new idea mate! Maybe after they update the hunting system the dog could even help you track injured animal after it runs off with arrows in its butt
