and it still dosent make sense to me that even on everything to the lowest settings it dosent even run more than 60 fps
The games resource management is not very good at the moment, you won't find any change in performance when switching settings because it doesn't use each component in your pc the way it should, like the CPU. Hence the CPU is the bottleneck. If the game is causing the bottleneck in the processor, the rest of the computers components efficiency wont matter because CPU is limiting your pc.
But hey, didja know they ported over a reskinned version of the glider from the first game? And BINOCULARS!1!!!1! They truly care about making the game playable for us, can't you tell?
I see no major difference in the game besides re-tuned weapon values, the TWO companions, the barely-more-advanced-than-minecraft logwork, and maybe the digging mechanics. Are we really going to pretend that's worth graphics and performance worse than Ark? N64 games don't have such barren patches of solid colors and jagged edges!!!!
They deserve a lot more lashback than they're currently getting, and so much more. It's only the hivemind of "I spent $3000 for the best computer setup" that lets just enough people play the game normally.
alright im starting to understand a little now but its mainly the devs fault becasue they didnt optimize it for us to play on higher fps or whatever. kinda stupid yeah i spent like 1,500 - 2,000 on my pc also
No, you can't compare Fromsoftware to Endnight. For one Fromsoftware has been making games for literally years and years. They have a massive team just dedicated to optimizing and so on. Endnight is a small indie team. As a developer myself, optimizing isn't an easy task. It's something that takes time.
More than likely they are adding stuff in, that is ready, that work well. Other things might not be working correctly so they won't add it till it is ready, that shows they care about making the game good. The Forest released in the same state as this game, and look at where that game went, It succeeded and they made it better.
