Remove the Snap-To for free building
I try to build a fence of sticks, one next to the other, and it keeps snapping way off to the side in a terrible way. We could build log fences in the first game in a straight line right next to each other, but somehow we can't do that here.

The freebuilding mode in this game is garbage, can't even make a straight stone wall without it forcing me to leave huge gaps between each section, i spent like 2 hours trying to wall in my damn base but it just wont let me, i'm not even close to any object at all and it still won't let me build anything.
I tried building fences instead because the stone walls doesn't want to work, only to find out they break when you jump/run into them.
Idk how drunk they were when they made this game but it's a huge disappointment.
2 of my friends can't even run the damn thing lmao

I feel like a good alternative, if possible (I am not a programmer) is the ability to hold a key when building (cntrl or alt or something) which would "unsnap" the object allowing you to "free-build". That would be a cool option. Especially when trying to build wall/gate/gate/wall in line. I found it easier to make a jut-out (or in) in order to be able to make a gate with a stone wall option. Obviously with wood verticle posts its super easy to make gates.
