if i put my window higher will they still be able to climb through?

I actually just cut what amounts to a gun port for a window. A single log piece from the center of the eye level portion of the wall.
I did this for the entire circumference of my base. I can shoot the lil buggers but they are not making entry.

I've never made a window so I didn't even know they could do that. Good to know.

i did some testing and the only way to prevent them from getting in is a 1 gap window
