My game freezes and crashes

The game randomly crashes whether on the surface or in the caves. More precisely the image freezes first but like discord sounds continue, then the sound stops and I can no longer perform any action, whether it is related to the game or my pc so im forced to restart it.
I can still play more than 20 minutes with my friends without the game crashing so I could enjoy a minimum, but lately the game has crashed 5 times in a row without me doing any special action (fighting or building something). I noticed that it tends to crash more when im in a cave or a minute after saving in a shelter.
I tested several things : verify the integrity of the game files, uninstall and then reinstall the game, disable the firewalls, disable antivirus, update the drivers graphics, lower the graphical parameters (even though the game runs in ultra at more than 100 fps on my pc).
It’s the only game that crashes, other more complex and resource-intensive games work wonders, so it’s not related to my pc. Maybe its because of windows 11, i can't test windows 10 right now.

If someone can help me i'd appreciate it !

Same issue here, also using Windows 11, 64 GB RAM, RTX 3080. Files verified and all drivers up-to-date.

Weirdly enough, I experienced no freezing issues last week when I was still on Windows 10.

No clue if it's because of the latest game updates or OS related, though I'm betting it's just a game bug because the reports seem to be widespread. I've also seen it happen to a twitch streamer more than once.

I have the same issue with RTX 3090Ti on Win10. It's happening every few minutes. It's getting worse when I open inventory.

Before the patch 01 my game runs smoothly. Now I can't play it even for 10 minutes.

For others in the thread: If you haven't already run a verify the game files in steam, If that doesn't help.
Then can you look for crash logs in %temp%\Endnight\SonsOfTheForest.
If you find any zip up and send to [e-mail].
Also please include an export (SaveAllInformation) from DxDiag in the email.

Same issue on steamdeck. Got the game running smoothly maintaining 30fps. Go in caves, open inventory, running through woods, fight groups of canibles, everything works and runs smooth. Randomly freezes requiring a full system restart. No apparent cause gameplay wise because I'm always doing different things but opening the inventory has frozen a couple extra. Any fixes would be greatly appreciated

I have same problem RTX 3060, One year i have this problem

1. Check crash logs when you suffer freeze or crash. Open Windows logs - Applications.
2. Find the current application. (for me it was NoiseCancelingEngine.exe)
3. Open Task Schedule - ASUS - find the file mentioned above and disable it in the menu on
the right side of the screen.
