she will also lead you to items you already have picked up, like the stun stick for example, which do respawn after reloading a save but are invisible for you if the item is already in your inventory.
Hi I surely can tell you what the problem is because I encountered the same problem several times and found out why she often stops while leading you somewhere.
As soon as Virginia comes too close to a cannibal she will stop. If there wouldnt be any cannibals around then she would lead you to a nearby location where you can find stuff for example the modern axe or an old helicopter with some cases around. Nothing special. How did I find out? So, Virginia wanted me to follow her many times already and we started at a huge sea. That means she needs to run around and on her way is a cannibal camp. We never passed that camp because of the cannibals. It got winter and the huge sea were frozen. She directly lead me over the frozen ice to the location of a crashed helicopter on the other side. Thats it. She will just show you locations you propably dont know yet.
But in 3 miltible hour sessions with her as a friend this was the only time the arrived somewhere with me. And she honstly ask me every 10 minutes to follow her.
The fact that a simple encounter with a cannibal disrupts her and she will abort the mission is just silly.
There are cannibals everywhere depending on your location on the map. The way it is now this (in theory) very useful feature just doesn't work.
Nope, it's not BS. worked exactly like that for me every time.
The first few times when she wants to gift you something she is very insecure, you need to put away your weapon and idealy not even move, everything might spook her away.
My first few times worked fine. Post patch, not so much. I'm just calling attention to it. Just because it works for you now, doesnt mean it's not bugged.
Stop claiming that starving ppl don't exist, because you're full.
Pretty much every aspect of the game is bugged for someone, it's early access.
Doesn't mean nothing works.
Stop claiming everyone is starving just because you're hungry.
Virginia was a bit buggy before the patch and there was a few pathfinding adjustments to her to help deal with getting stuck or stuck in pathing loops. Did this behaivour only start showing up post the last patch?
